Sign ups are being invited for the first event of Newry Pride festival – and you’ll need your running shoes to take part.
Organised by Coffee Running Club, in conjunction with LGBTQ+ Women's Group Newry the Newry Pride 5K promises to be a fun, casual 5k for everyone (under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult) to come along and go for a run in support of Newry Pride.
Formerly known as Croissant Run Club Newry, the Coffee Running Club Newry is hosting this event as part of their exciting rebrand as a social run club in Newry.
Runners are to will meet at 10.30am (aiming to run at 11am) at the WIN Industrial Estate, 18 August, at the entrance to the Towpath and the organisers would love it if everyone wore bright colours in honour of Pride!
