“It has already had thousands of shares from around the world and I’m so excited, as everyone is saying it’s a great summer anthem and commenting how catchy it is and how they can’t get it out of their heads.
Sophie’s delight with the response to the music video comes from the amount of hard work that went into making it.
“The feedback from my music video has been incredible, we’ve worked hard on this and are delighted with everyone’s response. It’s up on all major platforms such as Youtube, Facebook, Vimeo, TikTok, and Instagram,” Sophie explained.

“She played the title role of Matilda in Matilda the Movie and also the role of Abigail in the new Hollywood horror movie Abigail, from the makers of the Scream movies which is in cinemas now.
“We came up with the initial idea as a lot of my fanbase kept asking me for a music video so we sat down with my music video director Ovie and his team along with my music producer MajiKer in London and come up with video ideas and locations etc.
“The video begins at night time in the dark, lonely streets of Dublin City and then the storyline progresses to a secret hideaway which is a super colourful place, full of light and hope.”

Hide AdWhilst Sophie certainly has her own unique style, she explained the inspiration behind the song and who her idols are in the music industry.
“I was inspired to write this song, as I think everyone’s lives nowadays are super busy and everybody just needs a place where they can go to and get away from it all, with the pressures of everyday life, social media and life in general.
“My idols in music have to be Billie Eilish, Lana Del Ray, Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter. I’m inspired a lot by Lana Del Ray, her music style is incredible, and I just love her.”
Sophie isn’t resting on her laurels either, and she says that she will have plenty of more exciting news to come in the near future and that ‘it’s all a little crazy at the moment’.

“I’m actually just back from Los Angeles after filming something very exciting which will all be shared soon! I was also in New York for meetings along with my talented sister Holly who also sings and she has also new music released next year along with other joint exciting projects.
“I’m flying off to Sweden in a few weeks to work with a very famous music producer who reached out to me after seeing me on TV. He wrote hit songs for Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande, and I’m super excited to work with him!
“I’ve my new EP release at the end of this year and next summer my debut album will be released. It’s all a little crazy at the moment and I’m extremely thankful to all my amazing supporters locally and around the world they’ve been fantastic.
“Stay tuned for some exciting news.”
