Belleek Middleweight boxer Fearghus Quinn will make his return to the ring in August, as he fights Scotland’s Aston Brown at the SSE Arena in Belfast.

It will be a battle between two undefeated fighters, as Quinn boasts a record of nine wins and no defeats (9-0), with Brown’s record sitting at 6-0.

The two were set to meet in March, but the fight was postponed after Quinn suffered a broken hand in training.

Quinn’s last bout took place in December, as he won all six rounds against Bulgarian boxer Angel Emilov. Prior to that, Quinn scored a first-round knockout victory over Alex Sandro Duarte in Boston last October.

Quinn is no stranger to fighting at the SSE Arena, as this will be his fifth bout at the venue, and he is sure to bring a huge number of supporters from south Armagh.

The bout takes place on Saturday August 3, and the card is headlined by Belfast’s Tyrone McKenna v Mohamed Mimoune. Tickets are available now at: Ticketmaster.ie
