The event was a success in more ways than one with the Chamber team of Michael Savage, Peter Dunne, John Dunne and Jerome Mullen taking the top prize.

The Fourball Scramble Stroke Event saw some impressive scoring on the immaculate Cloverhill Course with the Chamber team carding an impressive net 49.9.Best Property Services went one better than their third place finish last year and came in second with 53.6 net closely followed by the Gullion Limited team who carded a net 53.7 to claim third with My Life Bathrooms returning 53.8 net to take fourth.

The charity hole prize in support of Chamber President Edwina Flynn’s chosen charity for the day ‘Caring Coins’ was won by the Wood Innovations team with the individual prizes going to David Corr for closest to the pin on the 7th and Ethan Patterson claiming the longest drive on 18th with an impressive John Dunne enjoying double success alongside the first team pized by claiming the closest to the pin on the 14th and longest drive on the 15th.

Commenting on the success of the event Chamber CEO Michael Savage said: “It was a great day and Cloverhill was in superb condition and the weather was kind to us. Of course to win the event was an added bonus and while it was a team effort a lot of our success was down to the impeccable golf of John Dunne who is a real talent.
