Hide AdDown held a 0-5 to 0-3 lead at half-time, which they pushed out to a five-point lead when Nathan Rodgers scored a superb goal early in the second half.
Fermanagh weren’t going to go away easily however, and when Sean Conlon scored midway through the half it was game on.
However, Down’s Cormac O’Reilly kicked what proved to be the winning score, and Down held on for the win.
