Five-point win over the Dubs 'not an easy task' says Armagh's Darragh McMullen

Armagh got four points ahead at the break, and managed out the lead well in the second half to secure the win, and the Madden man reflected on the game post-match.
“A five point win, what more could you ask for?
“It's not an easy task coming into Croke Park, especially against the Dubs, but we're glad we kicked on there. We went in at half-time leading and just chipped away at simple scores in the end and got the win.”

Having not featured much, McMullen was a surprise starter when Armagh faced Donegal in the Allianz Football League Division 2 Final in Croke Park. But this time around, he was ready for the experience of playing at the GAA Headquarters.
“It was a lot different than last year,” he said, regarding playing in Croke Park.
“It kind of took me by shock playing in the league (final), but you just have to block out the crowd and the fact you're playing in Croke Park and you just have to play your normal game, so I just tried to do my best and help the team get over the line.”
McMullen was also able to chip in with a score.

The win over Dublin means that Armagh topped their group with a game to spare. However, McMullen says that the Orchard County have no plans to ‘take the foot off the pedal’ in their final group match against Galway.
“Yeah, it's three years in-a-row now we've topped the so-called 'group of death', so we're just looking forward to the next outing,” he said.
“We're not going to take the foot off the pedal against Galway next time, we just want to kick on from there. There are more boys coming back from injury.
