Adam Carroll leaves Warrenpoint Town for Premiership giants Cliftonville
After scoring 14 goals in 20 league appearances for Warrenpoint Town this season, Bessbrook lad Adam Carroll has earned a move to Sports Direct Premiership giants Cliftonville.
Warrenpoint announced the news on Monday evening, and wished Carroll the best of the luck with the north Belfast side.

“Warrenpoint Town FC can confirm that Adam Carroll has completed a move to Premiership side Cliftonville FC,” they wrote on social media.
“Adam rejoined the club in the summer and made a real impact both on and off the pitch. Everyone at Warrenpoint Town would like to thank him for his commitment and professionalism during his time back at Milltown, and wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
“Best of luck, Adam.”
Point manager Gary Boyle responded to the news by hailing Carroll as a ‘Premiership player’.
“We all at Warrenpoint Town wishes Adam all the very best as he begins the next chapter of his career.
“Adam has been outstanding for us this season, both on and off the pitch. He is a Premiership-quality player, and when he re-signed with the club in the summer, we spoke about helping him get back to his very best and using Warrenpoint as a platform to showcase his talent. He has done exactly that.
“His move is fully deserved, and we know he will continue to work hard and be a success at Cliftonville."
Carroll, 24, previously played in Linfield’s academy and played in the top-flight during his two-year spell at Newry City AFC. In all, the forward scored 30 goals in 76 league games across two spells at Warrenpoint, but having hit a fine spell of form this season, he will be hoping to continue to progress at Solitude.
