Newry Chamber President donates £2,200 to PIPS Hope and Support

PIPS Hope and Support was honoured to welcome Edwina Flynn, President of Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade, to its office this week as she presented an outstanding donation of £2,200 to the charity’s Fundraising, Marketing & Communications Manager, Padraig Harte.

The generous contribution was raised through two highly successful events — the President’s Banquet and the Chamber’s International Men’s Day event—both organised under Edwina’s leadership during her presidency.

PIPS expressed sincere gratitude to Edwina and Newry Chamber for their continued support and dedication to mental health and suicide prevention.

The donation will go directly towards the charity’s vital services, including crisis intervention and bereavement support for those in need across the community.

The charity praised the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families during their most challenging times.
