Morgan Fuels & Lubes Ltd has achieved approval under the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme (RFAS), joining a small group of fuel suppliers in Northern Ireland to hold the accreditation and reinforcing its position as a leading supplier of assured renewable fuel solutions.
Approved under reference number MG/P83/26, Morgan Fuels & Lubes is now recognised as an approved Renewable Fuel Supplier under the RFAS, an independently managed scheme operated by the Zemo Partnership that verifies renewable fuel supply chains, product provenance, compliance and greenhouse gas emissions reporting.
The achievement places Morgan Fuels & Lubes among a small group of suppliers in Northern Ireland able to meet the scheme's stringent requirements for independent auditing, traceability and ongoing compliance monitoring.
The Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme works alongside the UK's Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) and provides businesses with confidence that renewable fuels are sourced through verified and traceable supply chains. The scheme also enables customers to receive fuel supply-chain-specific greenhouse gas emissions data, supporting accurate carbon reporting and informed decarbonisation strategies.
As an RFAS-approved supplier, Morgan Fuels & Lubes can supply RFAS-approved fuel, including Renewable Diesel (HVO) with 100% renewable fuel content, supported by the assurance, traceability and independent verification requirements of the scheme.
