Fundraiser launched for popular Newry man whose home was damaged in fire

Donations are pouring in to help popular Newry photographer, Mark Pearce, following a fire at his home yesterday.

Mark and his four legged companion Max had to move out of their Damolly home following a blaze yesterday on Sunday, June 22.

Mark runs the popular Newry Un's social media page and is 'very well known around Newry and further afield'.

Columba O’Hare of Newry.ie, who set up the GoFundMe page, said: "Currently it's not known the full extent of damage to his house but he won't be able to live there for the present and will have to start again at another place with all the costs associated."
