WATCH: CCTV footage as criminals break into Newry phone shop

Police are appealing for information following the incident, which took place in the early hours of Friday morning.
Azeem Malik, of Phone Fix on Hill Street, told the Newry Reporter that three suspects came into his shop at 4am.

Hide AdThey used a jack to get the shutter up before getting entry through the front door.


He added that items taken, which he valued at £30,000, included Samsung and Apple mobile phones as well as iPads.
Unfortunately five phones belonging to customers, which were in the shop to be fixed, were also taken.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police in Newry are investigating the report of a burglary at commercial premises in Hill Street on Friday 22nd March.

Hide Ad“It was reported that entry was gained through the shutter and front door of the shop in the early hours of Friday morning, and a quantity of electronic items taken.
