“This has been a project that Sinn Féin have supported for many years and it’s great that we have a date for when the project is to be completed.

“The health hub will provide a space for more services for local patients, an outlet to relieve pressure from Daisy Hill and will free up more space within the hospital itself.

“We also welcome that the health hub has been identified as a high priority project and hope that this will help deliver this key project as soon as possible.

“Construction is currently due to begin in April 2025, with a completion expected around March 2027”.
