The school was delighted to have as Guest of Honour, past pupil, Dermot Bellew.
Those who excelled in individual subjects were acknowledged. A range of other achievements were also celebrated such as sporting prowess, musical ability and attendance. Awards were given for endeavour and to pupils who contributed in a positive way to school life. Each pupil was commended and presented with their Record of Achievement.
The school also took the opportunity to remember it’s beloved Dylan Vallely. The Class of 2023 celebrated Dylan's achievements and his parents collected his awards. Mrs Millar paid an emotional tribute to Dylan as the school remembered, with fondness, the joy he brought to their lives.
The prizegiving was a wonderful reflection of how the family of St Joseph's can support each other in both celebratory and difficult times.
To the GCSE class of 2023, you are truly a special bunch and we wish you every success.
