Delight on Violet Hill at students’ ‘outstanding grades’

The St. Colman’s College community is very proud of the outstanding grades obtained by Violet Hill students in their 2024 A2 and AS examinations.

The results obtained by the A2 students highlight Violet Hill’s position as one of Northern Ireland’s top achieving Boys’ Grammar Schools. 33 students, over 31% of the year group, were awarded A*/A grades in 3 or more subjects with 95% of all grades attained being A*-C.

The academic achievements of the Violet Hill students are celebrated by the College community. These students have demonstrated exceptional talent, resilience and a real determination to do their best.

College Principal, Mr. Cormac McKinney said in congratulating the students that “the outstanding A2 and AS results demonstrate that our students work hard, are focused and determined to succeed.

He continued by thanking the staff of the College along with the students’ parents and guardians.
