The response was terrific and the school was able to hand over £760!

Women's Aid vision is: “A world where women and children are safe and supported.” Poyntzpass PS have made a contribution which may go a small way to ensure this vision is recognised.
A special thank you to Mrs Miskimmons who liaised with Women's Aid and organised the collection.
Meanwhile, the recent illuminated tractor run was in aid of Air Ambulance NI and school funds.
The twilight market was supported by the whole community and, with Poyntzpass Silver Band making sure everyone was in the Christmas spirit, it was a magical evening.
The tractor run was supported by 67 tractors all decorated with a Christmas theme and lights!
Overall, the event raised over £7,000 - £3000 of which was given to Air Ambulance. This was a tremendous effort by the PTA with a special mention to chairperson Mrs Acheson and her committee.
This would not have happened without their dedication and commitment to raising funds not only for school, but an extremely worthwhile charity.
