Warrenpoint and Crotlieve businesses urged to sign up for conference
Aimed at tackling Newry, Mourne and Down’s Workforce Challenges, the Conference will take place in the Canal Court Hotel on Wednesday, October 9 2024 and will include speakers, panellists, and participants from across the whole district.

Hide AdBusinesses, education and training providers and policymakers in the Warrenpoint and Crotlieve area are being encouraged to attend the Conference and play a significant role in shaping and developing a labour market strategy for the whole district for the next decade and beyond.
The October 9 conference takes place in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry with registration from 8.45am with the conference running from 9.20am – 3:45pm and is the first of two major conferences over a 12-month period with the second district-wide conference taking place in the Slieve Donard Hotel in Newcastle on October 8, 2025.
Urging stakeholders in the Warrenpoint and Crotlieve area to play their part in the conference, Warrenpoint Chamber of Commerce President, Colleen Dowdall said: "This major conference tackles an issue that is impacting every business across our whole district and provides everyone an opportunity to discuss the concerns and challenges of today’s workforce and let ideas to be heard as we work together to develop a strategy to deal with the problem."
