Deadline to enter Newry Chamber Employee and Team Awards extended
Due to numerous requests from both members and the wider business community seeking some additional time to get their entries in as a result of holiday pressures, Newry Chamber has decided to extend the deadline for this year's Employee & Team Awards to Wednesday, August 14 at midnight.
The Newry Chamber Employee & Team Awards are designed to celebrate and recognise our greatest assets, our people with the Gala Awards Ceremony taking place on Thursday 26th September in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry.
Our employees are the lifeblood of our businesses and we know you would agree that if it wasn't for their contribution, commitment and loyalty, our businesses would not be the success they are.
A Chamber spokesperson said, “If you have an employee or team that has made a big contribution to your business, who deserves recognition, the Chamber Employee & Team Awards are a great way to say thank you so please use the extra few days to put the final touches to your applications and get your entries in.
“It is fantastic to see your entries coming in, if you haven't already submitted an entry, we strongly encourage all members to show your appreciation for your employees and colleagues by setting aside some time before the new deadline for entries and submit your applications across 23 categories.”
