Layered Lives: An invitation to young women to connect, grow & explore relationships
Bolster Community warmly invites young women (aged 16–30 as a guideline) from across Newry, Mourne & Down and Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon to a special Girls Info Evening on Tuesday, July 8, from 3pm to 5pm at their Marcus Square office. Registration is essential to attend.
At its heart, Layered Lives is all about relationships — the ones we have with friends, family, partners, and ourselves. In a safe, supportive and empowering space, participants will explore what makes a relationship healthy, how to spot red flags, and ways to set boundaries that protect their wellbeing.
The programme also offers opportunities to connect with others who understand, while building confidence and self-esteem along the way. This isn’t about lectures or judgment — it’s about honest conversations, shared experiences, and personal growth.
The upcoming introduction event offers a relaxed, welcoming space to learn more about Layered Lives — Bolster’s new neurodivergent-friendly programme designed to help young women build confidence, find community, and thrive in their everyday lives. This is the perfect place to start.

There’ll be games, snacks, tea and coffee, and a warm atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to be themselves.
Layered Lives is part of the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) campaign and proudly supported by the Northern Ireland Executive, working together to create safer, more inclusive communities for women and girls.
