Security Bill raises border concerns

A counter-terrorism bill passing its way through Westminster could lead to the development of a stop and search point at Newry train station with passengers coming north from the Republic stopped as they enter the UK.

The Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Bill has already reached committee level in the House of Lords with two meetings scheduled next week (November 12 and 14), having already been read twice in the House of Commons.
