11-year-old Conor's climb to victory

An 11-year-old south Armagh schoolboy has become the youngest person from Northern Ireland to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, following in the footsteps of his famous father, and raising more than £4,000 in the process.

Conor Bannon - son of Terence ‘Banjo’ Bannon, the second Irishman to climb Mount Everest - took seven nights and eight days to scale the world’s tallest freestanding mountain.
