Soupy reignited following lay-off

After a year’s hiatus spent playing soccer for Lurgan Celtic before heading to New York in June, Stefan ‘Soupy’ Campbell is back on home soil and playing out of his skin in the orange jersey he belongs in.
Campbell was named Man of the Match after Armagh’s 2-21 to 1-10 victory over Antrim in the Bank of Ireland Dr McKenna Cup and it was a well-deserved accolade. It seems that the break for the 27-year-old Clann na Gael player was the deep breath that was needed to reignite his passion and ability which seemed to be burnt out somewhat in 2017.To read more subscribe to our online Newspaper
