Rostrevor’s ‘Invisible’ oak in running for Tree of The Year

A 200-year-old sessile oak in Rostrevor, known as ‘The Invisible Tree’, has made it to the final six in the Northern Ireland Tree of the Year Award.

Organised by the Woodland Trust, the tree with the most online votes will get a prize of a £1,000 health check from a specialist, educational materials or a community event in celebration of the tree.
